Patient Education Animation
We work with healthcare workers to create tools that help them better communicate with their patients. Animation captures the attention and imagination, and each health care provider has a unique way of explaining concepts of prevention and management, and we believe that this is a significant opportunity to achieve positive health outcomes. These videos offer doctors a means of presenting information in their own words and, if they wish, in their own voice. Take a look at the examples on this page, and let us know if you would like your own translation, or if you would like to record your own narration. We are also always excited to work with providers to create more of these videos so please reach out if you have a concept or idea that you would like brought to life in this way.
Hypertension and the Brain
In this animation, we are demonstrating an approach we use that allows physicians and other healthcare workers to write a script and have that animated. We observed that many people who don’t take their blood pressure medication don’t understand the actual reason for keeping blood pressure under control. This video is used in hospitals to help a patient understand the pathophysiology of stroke and improve adherence to these medications. The video below has been translated into Mandarin and Spanish, as well as the original English. As we build our library of education videos, we aim to have them available in as many languages as possible.
